whit’s chitchat

Well, as i have mention in my previous blog I am NOW a graduated high school student!! I will be attending the California institute of the Arts this fall. I am very proud of myself do you want to know why? well… i am 24 out of thousands of thousands of people who applied to CAL Arts that actually got in to the acting program!! Hopefully i will be rooming with the one and only Karina!! all is working itself out and i am happy and thankful I am finally out of LACHSA!!! YIPPIE!!!!! Although LACHSA has taught me so much and the friends I made there mean the world to me, I know that I am going on to bigger and better things!! My career at LACHSA has ended so I can stick it to the man!! Sooon.. very soon you will see me on stage or ina film and wonder… hey i read that girls blog and then think i remember her blog because she never wrote in it. well my friend i am writing in it now and that in itself is an accomplishment!! And lastly, as my summer begins today I have already begun my summer job as a Hot Dog on a Stick girl!! I will be providing everyone with EXCELLENT customer service!! So watch out cause whitney is not only stickign it to the man but she is sticking to the hot dog!!! See you at the STAND!!!!

Although, some feel as if i never write on this thing and get frustrated with me about it (i.e. brad, brainna, family…) I feel that there hasn’t been a day when i haven’t thought about writtting here. But you see i just don’t have that much time for it. even as we speak i should be working on college essays or writting up my physics report. BUT i must give what the people want, what the people need….. ME!!!! now for a little of that……

AS most of you know i am almost finished with my first semester of senior year, some would call it the hardest part. It has been difficult but i feel that i have pulled through it strongly and have had only a few minor FrEaKoUtS!!!! All is well now i am finishing a few more applications and then its time for what i feel is the hardedst yet funnest part….. preparing for my auditions. I am recieving some help from teachers, the ones who will actually help if you know what i mean. and I am in need of a lot of time to work on them but i find that all my audtions are NEXT month, i know what your thinking “how will she possibly do that??” if you’re asking that question then you must not know me….. i will be prepared and nervous on the day of the audition BUT i know i will do great and i am confident that i am definatly qualified to get into all the schools i have applied too, because why would i apply to a school that i didn’t think i would get into…thats stupid…..but i know there are some doubts. NEVER fear all is well and will be well.

Once again i would like to thankyou for listening to me ramble on about God knows what, but the fact is you listened to me ,and thats all that matters. Who knows the next time i will come back and write in this, it may be when i have graduated high school or when I leave for college……. who really knows…….. i don’t.

I started my Senior year today!!!!! i know exciting right? well yes it was!!! I started the morning with a shower then i got ready and went to Julio’s house so he could drive me to school. We took off in his car with an approach to senior in an excitning but sad kind of way. WELL…. it didn’t take us long to figure out that it was ALL us for now on. We run the school and everyone follows. We met with our friends and hugged for hours. hahaha then we had to got to our art department meeting. But of course since we are seniors we arrived late and made and enterence. Thats me and my friends in a nut shell. hahaha

anyways on a side note if you don’t know my school is going to be filmed this year and be made into a documentary. They are going to follow 3 or 4 seniors and 2 or 3 freshmen for the whole year to get the experience of the school. Well, lucky me actually lucky lilah she is a finalist for the movie and so the whole day they were following us around with cameras. It was amazing and i am no longer afraid to be in front of a camera(not sure if i ever was hahaha).  So in the department meeting we got assigned buddies and my buddy is awsome. i helped him to his classes and then went to mine. then after school i helped with the freshmen orientation, they are so little and cute awww……..! Then me, Julio, and Montana went to the glendale galleria and we ALL got offered jobs at Holister. i know HOW FUNNY!!! Then when i came home me and my parents played the card game that Kate taught us when we went camping in the spirit of her leaving to Scotland TODAY!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!! it was a great start to MY SENIOR YEAR!!!! CLASS OF 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6-english 12 (this is going to be Advanced Film but im glad i have Ms. OWENS    YIPPIE!!!)

So as you can see i have my work cut out for me this year!!!! But i KNOW its going to be GREAT!!!! actually AMAZING ITS MY SENIOR YEAR!!!!!!

Tonight me and my folks went to Mimi’s Cafe for dinner. When we got there we were seated right away and we all noticed it was loud and crowded. We ordered our food and talked as most families do in restaurants. As the night progressed we ate our meal and as we finshed a little boy at the table across from ours walked bye with his tongue sticking out at me. Well, the only likely and mature thing to do was smile at the time. But i knew I had my revenge coming. I waited until he walked by again and then had the corage to stick my tongue out at him. He smiled and ran to his mom.  The rest of the night consisted of me and him making funny faces at each other from across the way, as he hid behind his mother. My folks and I were dying of laughter every time he would make a funny face and loved that he would always wait for my funny face in response to his. hahaha  The night came to an end at the restaurant when my dad turned to us and said “wouldn’t that be funny if his mom caught him in the act of making a funny face at us.” RIGHT THEN as the little boy was making a face at me his MOM CAUGHT him. She turned to us and apologized but i explained that we were in this together. We all had a laugh. As me and my parents walked out of the restaurant I turned and made my final funny face. I will NEVER forget that little boy and the night full of funny faces!!!

At This POINT in Time I have decided that I hate La Puente!!!!

This afternoon started out great, I went to the movies with Julio. We saw “accepted”( it was cute). After the movie we went and ate lunch and then went to stores to apply for jobs. well of course we would go to holister. And now that I am old enough to finally apply there i did. I have an interview there next thursday at 4pm (so wish me the best of luck). So we got the interview and were thinking pretty highly of our selfs. I bought a shirt there for the interview and we were on our way home. This is where the story begins…. as some of you may know La Puente is having some road construction done on main st. which is right by my house. So we take a short cut to my house and find that a street had been closed. Then we try another way to get to my house and figure out that they have closed off main street itself!!!! So I call my mom desperately to see what I should do and she says to walk home. =( So Julio drops me off but is sorry for the fact that i have to walk home. I start to walk down blue bonett and I turn the corner and call my sis while im heading up the main street hill. She doesn’t answer so I leave a hateful message(i hope u got it sis) . Then I get to the area where all the construction is happening and decide to call gina cause i know she would answer her phone and side with me on the fact that L.P. is horrible. Well, before Gina answers her phone I notice that ALL the construction guys are staring at me. i mean you would think I was like the queen of the Macy’s day parade. well i soon as i noticed i said hello. Even though, i was a nice person and said Hello they turned their heads and started laughing. I mean geez!!!!! It was so rude. Then Gina finally picked up and i told her of the horrible walk i was enduring. I realized i still had my work cut out for me cause i had a beast to walk up in the hott sun. THIS is the REASON I HATE LA PUENTE AT THIS POINT IN TIME!!!! wouldn’t you???

Yesterday i went to Forever 21, the clothing store and I was going there expecting great things: Lots of shirts in all different colors and styles, millions of dresses, and tons of pants. Well, i was wrong!!! They did have some of a good selection BUT they had all their winter gear out. Long sleeve shirts, knitted tops, heavy jackets, etc. well thats all great and good when school starts BUT for right now i wanted some summer clothes cause its WAY too hot to wear that stuff now! SO me and my mom decided that it seems every time I go to Forever 21 without money they have so many clothes that I want BUT when I go there with money the don’t have what I want. So I claim that next time before I go to forever 21 I’m going to hide money in my purse so that I don’t know its there and maybe they will have clothes that I want. hahaha I hope it works!!! But until then I will forever go to forever 21 forever and ever……….

well as you ALL know i have a blog (because your here reading right NOW) and a couple of days ago i went and read my sisters blog and then my brothers blog and then came kate’s and jenn’s followed. Well, right then and there I realized how left out I was without a blog. So I decided to make one. I will tell you this now, I might not write in it as often as I would like cause I might be busy but I will be sure to make some time for it during the school year! This blog may consist of deep thoughts ,and since you all know me then you will know I am not that deep of a thinker. So who knows where this blog will go……………
